I did it – I got my own domain. I hope you decide to come with me to onelifedocumented.com!
I seem to be the only one who don’t listed to music much (anyone else out there like this…??) – “not much” in this case means “virtually never”. But sometimes I put something on when I scrapbook. One of my favorite artists for scrapbooking is the Swedish artist Anna Ternheim. There’s something so haunting about her music…
What do you listed to while scrapbooking?
Busy, busy weeks! But I have had time to get some scrapping done. The first layout of the day is for Studio Calico’s Sunday sketch, using Studio Calico’s July kit Continental (and one item from May’s Kit Granny’s Cupboard). The photo is of the first bud on my Clematis that was about to blossom. Now I count over 20 flowers, and 30 new buds… Amazing! The Clematis I bought last year died on me…
Cardstock: Bazzill, Patterned Papers: Studio Calico “Geographic”,
The Girls’ Paperie “on holiday”, Punches: Martha Stewart “Optic Dot edge” and circle punch,
Corner punch, Embellishments: Martha Stewart Doily tag, Pink Paislee Bella Brad,
Making Memories Panorama corrugated alphabet
The second layout is for Skissedilla #70. My husband went on a cruise with his job in June, and I got these photos sent while he was at sea. You might not notice it, but in the second photo, there’s someone in the background, waving their arms about, hence the title (anyone have the English word for this phenomenon?).
Cardstock: Bazzill, Patterned Paper: Studio Calico “Jet Set”
(from their new collection, Documentary!), Embellishments: Studio Calico Hot Air Balloon and Alpha
(both also from Documentary), Basic Grey Rub-on
Want to share two new layouts today. The first is Scrapshop.no’s August DT challenge; Make embellishments with punches. I took the photos with my iPhone and the Hipstamatic app. Love it! Punches from Martha Stewart, the butterflies are from scrap paper (Paink Paislee, prima, etc). Painted background. Chandelier is American Crafts Remarks stickers.
Second layout is for this week’s Sunday Sketch at Studio Calico’s blog. It’s funny that the layout the sketch is bases on portrays shoes… I just received these babies last week. A few weeks back, I was went looking for something on Etsy when I found these on the front page. Had to click them. My size. Had to get them. Love them! Never worn!
Layout is made entirely with Continental, Studio Calico’s July Kit, with products by the likes of Pink Paislee, My Mind’s Eye and Making Memories.
The May prompt for the Gutter Girlz has been eating away at me over this month… I haven’t had a clue what to do. Then suddenly the idea hit me today. Cannot share entire LO before Friday, but at least I have some sneaks for you…
Check out this blog for a great give-away! And, take a closer look on the tutorial in the same post – I’m so doing that!
