Halloween is not a big holiday in Norway. Go figure, it’s not Norwegian. But, I remember hosting a halloween party when I was 13 or 14… so, at least 10 years ago. First of it’s kind within my circle of jr. high friends. During the last 10 years, Halloween has grown considerably, but some people still frown upon what they consider an American holiday full of American traditions. So few even consider the history behind the tradition, and so many forget Norway’s own heathen past. Every year, news papers write articles about this, but every year people continue to show off their ignorance.

Anyway.. My sister has a thing for Halloween and for the past couple of years, she’s hosted a party for her daughter and her daughter’s friends. We had the opportunity to help this year, and it was so much fun! I made this layout using Studio Calico‘s October kit “On the Easel”. If you want to see the photos in better quality, you can check them out on Facebook.
